Metroparks Toledo Offers Beginner-Friendly Overnight Backpacking Experience

Metroparks Toledo hosts Backpacking 101: Wildwood Preserve Overnight for adults ages 18 and older on August 28-29 at Wildwood Preserve Metropark. The guided overnight program introduces participants to backpacking basics, including packing gear, pitching a tent, building a campfire, cooking outdoors and ‘Leave No Trace’ camping practices. St. Luke’s Medical Campus Redevelopment Update

Redevelopment of the former St. Luke’s Medical Campus in Maumee has reached a major milestone, with demolition of the former hospital now more than 80% complete and on track to finish in September. The project will create more than 30 acres of development-ready land while preserving the active medical campus.
