Family-run pizza kitchen out on West Central — hand-tossed pies stacked high, the kind of spot that feeds the whole team after the game.

Courtyard by Marriott Toledo West

A business-leaning Courtyard on the Secor Road corridor, with workspace in the rooms and a bistro handling breakfast and evening drinks. Draws University of Toledo and medical-district traffic during the week, quiet on weekends.

Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo/Westgate

Part of the hotel cluster at Secor and I-475 that serves the University of Toledo and the Westgate strip. Free hot breakfast, easy parking, five minutes to campus for parents weekend or a Rockets game. Downtown is about ten minutes east.

Ottawa Park

Toledo's largest city park, roughly 300 acres of green since 1892. Golf, trails, an open-air ice rink, and a historic amphitheater that hosts free summer concerts.
