Yoga in Olander Park
Yoga Poses in the Park continues at Olander Park with free, gentle yoga sessions. Open to ages 16 and up and suitable for all skill levels, the hour-long classes offer a relaxed outdoor practice focused on mindfulness, movement and stress relief. Tai Chi on the Riverfront
Wellness by the Boat returns to the National Museum of the Great Lakes with a free, guided Tai Chi session held outdoors along the Maumee River at Cliffs Great Lakes Maritime Park. Led by certified instructor Corey Anderson, RN, BSN, the 45-minute class includes a brief warm-up followed by Dr. Paul Lam’s evidence-based Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention routine, designed to improve balance, strength and relaxation for participants of all fitness levels. Women’s Archery Program Introduces the Basics
A women-only archery program offers participants a hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of the sport, with an emphasis on safety, technique and confidence-building in a supportive group setting. Designed for beginners, the multi-session class provides equipment and instruction as participants learn proper form and shooting skills while exploring a new outdoor activity. The program is held over three required sessions in August at Garbry Big Woods Reserve in Perrysburg. Wednesday, August 19, 6 p.m. (meets for three sessions)

NW Ohio Brewery Ride Returns for 2026 Pelotonia Benefit
The 6th annual NFNF Brewery Bike Ride returns to Northwest Ohio with a 48-mile supported tour through area breweries, raising funds for Pelotonia and cancer research at The James Cancer Center. Starting and ending at Arlyn’s Good Beer in Bowling Green, the ride includes stops at regional breweries along the route, with snacks and water provided at each location. Registration includes a limited-edition event T-shirt, one beverage and one raffle ticket, with additional raffle tickets available for purchase. All proceeds from the event go directly to Pelotonia.
